This 101 I got has 2 wires coming off the rear that are labeled "voltage", the guy I got it from said that these were hooked up so the pc can sense the cutting voltage to know if the gap is getting wider or too close? he said I should just disconnect them for hand use, wonder if that has anything to do with why your hand torch didn't work?Ī cnc table would be sweet, only problem for me is space & not having so much need for one, although if I did set one up I'm sure I would find a lot of use for it too, maybe some day I will. do you have any wires extending out of the back of your 151? That's strange, far as I know they should be interchangeable, that's supposedly one of the big selling points on the whole torch 1 system is that you can easily swap from the machine torch to either hand torch & they should all be pinned out the same & easily plug & play swappable between them, I would have thought it should have worked too. does anyone know if I can just replace the head & keep the same 25' cable to the machine torch? the hand torches are all just 20' so maybe the cable isn't the same?, are these machine torches popular enough that I might be able to sell the whole torch assy & just buy an sl60 or sl100 torch assy instead?Īnyone know what would happen if I decided to get an sl60 torch instead, what would happen if I tried running that torch up towards the 80 amps of this machine? it seems the sl60 is rated up to 80 amps on some sites but only 60 amps on most others, so is there any reason for me to rather get the sl100 in the first place? I'm sure I wouldn't need to run over 60 amps often if at all but what would happen if i did? anyone know who has the best prices on these torches, the prices seem to vary pretty widely from most of the online vendors I've seen.

Power supplies have a 3-year warranty and torches a 1-year warranty.Hey guys I just bought a thermal dynamics cutmaster 101, but it was set up for a cnc & came with a machine torch version of the sl100 head instead of a manual hand torch, I know I've seen just the replacement handle end for sale somewhere but have just searched for over an hour & can't find it anywhere.
